END TUTORIAL "TEST OKTOBER 2010" In the days
15/16/17 October 2010 in the territory of the Parco del Ticino was carried out civil defense exercise called "Test Oktober 2010".
This event, sponsored by the Lombardy Region and the Department of Civil Protection, has involved about 450 workers of different specialties and tested the emergency facilities for events of type B and C (maxi-emergencies) of the various towns.
CISOM Group of Milan, as a voluntary organization of social health, and therefore an essential part of the function 2 (Health) by the method Augustus, was invited by the COM 2 COM 3 and COM 4 (Misti corresponding Operations Centers 3 common to the south-west of Milan) to participate with a department and a medical crew. The method of Augustus, adopted by the Italian Civil Protection and framed by the law 225/92, is to plan interventions in emergencies inspired by the criteria of flexibility and simplicity for the first time introduced by the Roman emperor 2000 years ago.

The occasion was for volunteers CISOM an important opportunity for enrichment and engagement with other relief organizations and was propitious to test facilities and equipment of the Group.
